Rodgers Silicon Valley Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: RSVA), sponsored by T.J. Rodgers, the founder and former chief executive of Cypress Semiconductor, completed its business combination with Enovix Corporation, a developer of advanced silicon-anode lithium-ion batteries, in 2021. The blank-check company raised capital through its 2020 initial public offering and targeted the clean energy and advanced technology sectors. Enovix, which produces next-generation battery cells for consumer electronics, mobile, and defense applications, announced the transaction in February 2021, with the deal subsequently closing and the combined entity listing on Nasdaq under the ticker ENVX.
