CF Corporation, trading under the ticker CFCO, was a blank-check company co-sponsored by Chinh Chu of CC Capital and William Foley II of Trasimene Capital Management that completed its IPO in 2016 targeting the financial services sector. The SPAC announced its business combination with FGL Holdings, the parent of life and annuity insurer Fidelity and Guaranty Life, in June 2017, and the transaction subsequently closed later that year, giving the combined entity a public listing. The deal represented one of the larger SPAC-driven insurance sector transactions of that period. CF Corporation's status is now closed following the completion of the merger.
