TPG Pace Tech Opportunities Corp (Nasdaq: PACE) was a blank-check company sponsored by TPG Pace Group, the SPAC platform of global alternative asset manager TPG, that completed its IPO in 2020 with a focus on technology and diversified sectors. The vehicle announced a business combination with Nerdy Inc., the parent company of online learning marketplace Varsity Tutors, in January 2021. The transaction subsequently closed, bringing an education technology company into the public markets and leaving PACE with a status of closed.
