GP Investments Acquisition Corp (GPIA), sponsored by GP Investments, a Brazil-based private equity firm, completed its initial public offering in 2016 with a mandate to pursue opportunities in the enterprise software sector. In May 2017, GPIA announced a definitive business combination with Rimini Street, Inc., a Las Vegas-based provider of independent third-party support services for Oracle and SAP enterprise software products.
