Genesis Park Acquisition Corp, trading under the ticker GNPK and sponsored by Genesis Park LP, completed its business combination with Redwire Corporation, a space infrastructure company specializing in in-space manufacturing, satellite components, and space systems integration. The SPAC conducted its IPO in 2020, targeting the aerospace and defense sector. An S-1 registration statement was filed on September 24, 2021, in connection with the de-SPAC transaction, after which Redwire began trading on the NYSE American exchange under the ticker RDW.
