Aurora Innovation, Inc. completed its business combination with Reinvent Technology Partners Y (Nasdaq: RTPY), a blank-check company sponsored by Reinvent Technology Partners — the venture-backed SPAC platform co-founded by Reid Hoffman, Mark Pincus, and Michael Thompson. Reinvent Technology Partners Y conducted its IPO in 2021, targeting the technology sector, and subsequently merged with Aurora Innovation, a developer of autonomous vehicle software and hardware focused on self-driving trucking and passenger applications.
