Daseke, Inc., a Texas-based flatbed and specialized transportation company, filed an 8-K with the SEC on December 20, 2016, in connection with its merger with Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. II, the SPAC that brought Daseke to the public markets. Hennessy Capital Group LLC served as the sponsor for the vehicle, which traded on Nasdaq under the ticker HCAC and completed its IPO in 2015.
