Daseke, Inc., a flatbed and specialized open-deck trucking and logistics company, completed its public market debut through a business combination with Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. II, a blank-check vehicle sponsored by Hennessy Capital Group LLC. The SPAC completed its IPO in 2015, targeting the transportation and industrial sectors. Daseke filed an 8-K with the SEC on February 27, 2017, under accession number 0001213900-17-001799, in connection with the closing of that merger, after which the combined company traded under the ticker DSKE on Nasdaq.
