CF Acquisition Corp. VIII, which traded on Nasdaq under the ticker CFVI, was a blank-check company sponsored by an affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald that completed its IPO in 2021 targeting the technology and media sector. The SPAC pursued a business combination with Rumble Inc., the video-streaming platform, filing an 8-K with the SEC on September 16, 2022, in connection with that transaction. Following the closing, Rumble began trading as a public company under the ticker RUM, and CFVI was effectively dissolved as a separate entity. The deal marked one of the more prominent SPAC completions in the consumer technology space that year.
