Forum Merger IV Corp (Nasdaq: FIII), sponsored by Forum Merger IV, LLC, an affiliate of Forum Asset Management, completed its business combination with Electric Last Mile Solutions, Inc. in June 2021, taking the commercial electric vehicle startup public. The blank-check company had raised capital through its 2020 IPO with a focus on the electric vehicle and transportation sector, and ELMS brought to market a Class 1 urban electric delivery van targeting last-mile logistics operators. The combined entity filed an 8-K on June 25, 2021 in connection with the closing of the transaction. ELMS subsequently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2022.
